Enriched with Oxygen Rooms
Altitude sickness is very common and affects to at least 50% of visitors. One of the most debilitating altitude sickness is the poor quality of sleep. If oxygenation is improved at night while you sleep, oxygenation of the body during the day also will be improved. Oxygen concentrators are used to enhance the atmosphere of the rooms. Oxygen is supplied to the rooms 24 hours a day, until room gets an atmospheric pressure of about 2.400 meters, which is low enough to prevent negative effects of altitude sickness. It has been shown that each additional 1% inspired oxygen concentration equivalent to 300 meters of descent. Therefore, by raising the inspired oxygen from 21% to 24%, a decrease in the height of 900 meters, which is as lowering the room at a height of 2.400 meters. After sleeping in a room enriched with oxygen, the increased level of oxygen in the body is gradually reduced over a period of 14-15 hours the next day.
