Travel Responsabilities
TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIESPACHA TOURS & TRIPS E.I.R.L. acts only as an agent for the passenger in regard to travel, whether by road, railroad, boat, airplane, helicopter, or horse, and assumes no liability for injuries, damages, losses, accidents, delays or irregularities that may be caused either by reason of act or default of any hotel, carrier, boat, restaurant, company or person, rendering any of the services included in the trip, or any other circumstances beyond their direct control. INSURANCE AND MEDICAL ISSUESIf any of our tour participants gets sick or is incapacitated, we seek medical attention by a qualified medical professional. The client will assume the total cost of the medical treatment and/or hospitalization, if necessary. In case of accident and/or if evacuation is necessary, all the expenses will be completely covered by the client. Early reservations are recommended in order to guarantee hotel accommodations. During the high season (May to October and months of June and December), PACHA suggests that reservations be made at least six months in advance in order to confirm space. All the reservations must be sent in writing via e-mail with all the specifications of the client’s request. Individuals: The payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date. In the event of a reservation received after 45 days prior to arrival date, full payment should be sent as soon as PACHA confirms the request. Certain hotels may require additional deposits to guarantee space, especially during the high season. Groups: The groups will be confirmed in writing based on the requests. A deposit of 50% of the total amount invoiced is required as soon as PACHA confirms the trip. Full payment should be sent 60 days prior to arrival date. Adventure Tours:The adventure tour confirmation will be send to clients after PACHA checks the availability to start a hike on the requested day. A deposit of the 50% over the total amount invoiced is required as soon as PACHA confirms the tour. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDSCancellations must be received in writing a minimum of 60 days prior to the arrival date. In such cases, 75% of the deposit will be refunded, the remainder will be forfeited for guaranteed deposits to hotels and tour coordinators. If cancellation is requested 45 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded, the remainder will be forfeited for guaranteed deposits to hotels and tour coordinators. If cancellation is requested 30 days prior to the arrival date, PACHA will charge 100% of the total trip cost. Adventure Tours:Cancellations must be received in writing a minimum of 30 days prior to the arrival date. In such cases, the guaranteed deposits for Inca Trail bookings and/or tour coordinators will be forfeited and the remaining money will be refunded. If cancellation is requested 15 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded, the remainder will be forfeited for guaranteed deposits to Inca Trail bookings and/or tour coordinators. If cancellation is requested 7 days prior to the arrival date, PACHA will charge 100% of the total tour cost. |
